Vera Selected for Lloyd's Lab Cohort 16 Pitch Day

We're excited to share that Vera has been selected for the Lloyd's Lab Cohort 16 Pitch Day, taking place on 4 March 2026 in London.

Out of 240 applicants from around the world, we're one of 20 companies invited to present our solution to an audience of 500 Lloyd's market professionals, including brokers, underwriters, and managing agents.

What is Lloyd's Lab?

Lloyd's Lab is the world's leading insurance innovation accelerator, ranked #1 globally by the Financial Times. Since 2018, the programme has supported over 150 companies, and the results speak for themselves:

  • 85% of alumni maintain commercial relationships with the Lloyd's market
  • 78% of those relationships were facilitated directly through the programme
  • Alumni have collectively raised over $1.7 billion in investment
  • Alumni have generated $359 million in gross written premium

Each company is matched with dedicated mentors drawn from a network of Lloyd's market professionals. From the 20 companies pitching, 12 will be selected for the 10-week accelerator programme starting in April.

What we're building

Vera is an AI placement assistant for Lloyd's brokers. We help broking teams handle the documentation burden that slows down placements, from submission to bind.

Brokers re-key the same data 4 to 6 times across systems, chase underwriters for quotes, compare terms to expiring coverage, and track conditions across lead and following underwriters. The more complex the risk, the heavier the admin.

Vera extracts risk data from client submissions, generates MRC-ready documents, compares quotes side-by-side, and tracks underwriter conditions throughout the placement. Brokers stay in control of every decision. We handle the admin.

Why Lloyd's Lab matters to us

We've spent the past three months on the ground in the Lloyd's market. Over 95 conversations with brokers, underwriters, and policyholders. Weekly visits to Leadenhall. Product demos in pubs around Lime Street. We even stood outside Lloyd's handing out doughnuts in exchange for honest feedback.

The pain is real. The demand is real. Lloyd's Lab gives us the market access, mentorship, and credibility to deploy with the brokerages placing some of the world's most complex risks.

What's next

On 4 March, we'll pitch to 500 Lloyd's market professionals. If selected for the programme, we'll spend 10 weeks building and deploying our solution with live placements, targeting paid pilots and case studies by Demo Day in July.

We're not here to learn. We're here to deploy.
