Sales and pre-sales teams rely on Vera’s Past Answers to speed through RFPs, DDQs, and security reviews. But what happens when that library grows?
This week, we’ve made it easier than ever to manage and expand your knowledge base; without slowing down.
Duplicate Past Answer Notifications
Your Past Answers library is only as reliable as the data inside it. Duplicate or conflicting answers can slip through as your library growsand if left unchecked, they can lead to inconsistent responses across your questionnaires.
Now, Vera can catch these issues for you automatically.
Get Notified When Duplicates Are Detected
We've added a new notification type that alerts you when duplicate Past Answers are found in your library. Head to the Notifications page to set it up—choose to receive alerts via email, Slack, or both.
If you've connected Slack, you can send notifications to a specific channel or directly to individual team members. Add as many recipients as you need to keep the right people in the loop.

Weekly Checks, Only When It Matters

Vera runs these duplicate checks weekly and will only notify you when we detect high-risk duplicates—answers with conflicting details or responses that are used frequently across your questionnaires. No noise, just the issues worth addressing.

Take Action Directly From the Notification
Whether you receive an alert via email or Slack, you'll see exactly which Past Answers are flagged, along with the reasoning behind the risk level. From there, you can click through to view the original and the duplicate side by side, then decide which one to keep—all without leaving the platform.
