Company Information
The Challenge
Juro was already handling 15–20 security questionnaires per month, with volumes expected to grow ~20% year over year as the company scaled.
Before Vera:
- Sales reps had to ping legal and security in Slack for nearly every questionnaire
- Responses lived in Notion and Google Sheets, making reuse difficult
- Each questionnaire required at least 2–3 people, involving sales, infosec and legal
- Questionnaires often stalled deals for days or weeks, especially at quarter-end
“We'd be 30 messages deep on a Slack thread at 10pm on the last day of the quarter. That's when I knew we had to fix this.”

Despite being relatively smooth, the manual process didn't scale. Even with a SOC 2 Type II in place, prospects continued to send repetitive questionnaires, costing time, delaying deals, and pulling senior team members away from higher-value work.
Choosing Vera
Before Vera, Juro tried building their own workflow using GPT, hoping to automate questionnaire responses with a custom internal tool. But the results didn't hold up in practice.
- Answers lacked consistency and accuracy, often pulling irrelevant or outdated content
- The system couldn't reliably match answers to the original question format, creating extra work to edit and rephrase
- Without a connected knowledge base, responses weren't grounded in approved language or policies
- Sales still had to manually copy, paste, and verify answers, defeating the purpose of automation
“I tried to build something myself with GPT, but the answers weren't accurate. Vera worked right out of the box and gave us back hours every week.”

That experiment made the team even more clear on what they needed:
- A tool that actually automated answers
- Confidence in accuracy and control
- Something fast and simple enough for sales to use on their own
Vera delivered on all three with Slack-based collaboration, policy ingestion, and high-confidence AI responses from day one.
Getting Started
Juro saw value from Vera within days. In the first week of the proof of concept, they uploaded key security documentation, connected Vera to Slack, and ran real questionnaires through the platform. The results were immediate.
- Vera returned answers in seconds with >70% automation accuracy from day one
- Sales started testing live deals in the first month
- Legal and security teams validated responses and signed off; giving the go-ahead to roll out across the team
“We uploaded the docs, ran a test, and five seconds later had answers. It was amazing. We went from spending days to minutes.”

Measurable Results
Real impact delivered in Year 1, with projected savings scaling significantly over time
Bottom line: Vera delivered immediate, measurable impact across every key metric that matters to growing businesses.
“Now our security team spends their time securing Juro instead of answering repetitive due diligence requests.”

What Today Looks Like For Juro
Vera has become Juro's first line of defense for due diligence and security questionnaires. The sales team now handles the majority of requests independently, with legal and security stepping in only when necessary.
Thanks to 85% automation accuracy and Vera's Slack integration, sales can ask ad-hoc security questions and get reliable, approved answers without pulling in Legal or Security.
“We're finally not scrambling. Sales can move faster, we're not pulled into every deal, and thanks to the Slack integration, most of the time we don't even need to upload questionnaires anymore.”

Legal still reviews the occasional privacy-specific question, but Vera ensures they are only tagged when his input is truly required. The knowledge base continues to improve with every review, and Juro is now looking to expand usage to cover AI-related risk reviews and contractual due diligence.
