Integrating with Slack

How it works

Just tag @Vera in your Slack channel and ask a question. For example: "@Vera Do we have a third-party vendor assessment and data access policy?"

Our platform will process the request and provide a response along with relevant document references, all within seconds.

Connect to Slack

1. Go to Settings > Integrations
2. Click on "Add to Slack" and select a channel you want Vera to live in. If the channel you're looking for does not appear, it may be because it's private. For private channels, you need to invite Vera to the channel first. You can do that using /invite @Vera or tagging @Vera and Slack will prompt you to invite them.

Remove from Slack

1. Go to Settings > Integrations
2. Click on "Manage". This should open the slack app.
3. From there navigate to where the Vera bot is used, hover over the icon and click on "Configuration"

4. That should take you to the app manage page on the browser.
5. From there you can remove the Vera bot.
